Over the course of his 16 year career, Aaron has produced and executed conceptual digital projects for over 60 national magazines, as well as advertising projects for clients like Crackle, TruTv, CMT, Nike, DirecTV, Georgia Pacific / Dixie, Officemax, Phillips Electronics, Absolut Vodka, Black and Decker, and Dannon Yogurt.
As a professional photographer and photo-illustrator, his work has won awards from Communication Arts, the Society of Publication Designers, and Photo District News.
While execution and production is important, the most critical part of any photo-illustration is the idea behind it. Many of Aaron's clients rely on him not just to illustrate, but to concept and develop a story-telling visual. Many of the pieces in these portfolios start out a simple sketch - some of which can be seen in the sketchbook section of this site.
Aaron lives with his wife Terry, his sons Nathan and Zachary, and a tiny fluffball cat named Jane. For fun, he likes to injure himself with the large array of power tools he uses to renovate the 95 year old house they live in.
